I know for myself this is something I never want to have come out of my mouth.

Your legs are the strongest muscles in the body…but they are the first to go if they are not exercised. It always makes me sad when I have a patient who can’t get up or down off of my adjusting table due to weakness (not pain but weakness). This doesn’t have to happen.

You need to keep your legs and arms strong. I put up a great blog about squats. I urge you to review it and start doing your squats daily. For your arms do push ups. Start out doing them on the wall if you have to. Then work up to doing an incline push up on stairs. Then move to the floor and do them on your knees. Through this simple progression you’ll eventually be able to do full push ups.

Do something everyday.

Keep strong.

What excuses are you using and allowing to hold you back in life?

A friend sent me this very powerful video and I thought that I would share it with you.

Do you walk around with your belly hanging out?

Weak tummy muscles add to back pain, digestion problems, and balance problems.  Every hour pull your bellybutton to your spine and hold for 5 to 10 seconds.  Make sure you keep breathing while doing this.  Soon you will start to notice that your pooch isn’t so poochy.

Here is my recipe for my daily superfood shake – smoothie.

1 Tablespoon of Jay Robb egg white protein powder (vanilla flavored)

1 Teaspoon of maca powder

A small handful of gogi berries

1 Teaspoon of cacao nibs

A small handful of açai berries

1 1/2 Teaspoons of coconut oil

1 Teaspoon of molasses

1 Teaspoon of Nordic Naturals Artic Omega fish oils (lemon flavored)

2 cups of organic orange/mango juice

A small handful of frozen red grapes

Then I blend away in my Vita-Mixer.  This takes me less than 5 minutes to make.

You can do this.
